A/C Compressor Bracket - L-Series Engine (240z/260z/280z)

There is no bolt-on A/C solution for Vintage Air on the S30Z market. So ZSM Custom built one from scratch — and this compressor bracket is where it all starts.

This bracket was CAD designed, laser-cut, and TIG welded to create a true bolt-on mounting solution for an A/C compressor on the L-Series engine. It mounts the compressor as close to the block as possible, and the belt tensioner is built directly into the bracket design. No improvised solutions, no clearance issues — everything fit beautifully on the first try.

The entire ZSM A/C system was engineered to bolt on like OEM. No holes drilled. Every component — compressor, condenser, drier, bulkhead, under-dash unit, control panel, and vents — uses OEM mounting locations. This is OEM+ quality A/C for your S30.

The ZSM Process

Each bracket starts with hand measurements, moves to CAD, gets validated with paper templates, and is then laser-cut — all within a few days. The angled condenser brackets fit perfectly on the first try from basic hand measurements alone. That’s the ZSM standard.

Real-World Proof

A client recently ordered a complete ZSM A/C kit all the way from Texas for their Z build. We’ve successfully provided A/C on client builds across different chassis and engine configurations — 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z.
