S30Z 260Z/280Z CD009 Trans-member - Welded and Fitted

Got our CD009 trans-member welded up and fitted today. Extremely happy with the fitment and the mounting thanks to our process of 3D scanning, CAD design, and laser cutting.

Tunnel-Mounted Design

This trans-member mounts to the inner transmission tunnel, not to the floors like other products. This provides several key advantages:

Key Benefits

1. Structurally Stronger: This design is structurally stronger and ties the body together like the OEM unit did
2. Unlimited Exhaust Clearance: Provides unlimited exhaust clearance. In fact, the transmission itself is the limiter, but you can still tuck the exhaust completely above the frame rails
3. Avoids Rusty Floors: You won't need to bolt your transmission to your rusty floors (which S30s are known to have). The transmission tunnel on the other hand very rarely has any rust on it
4. Completely Bolt-In: Our product is completely bolt-in. All you need to do is drill 4 holes in the tunnel, which you can easily weld back up if you wanted to restore the car back to factory down the line
