We put a brushed finish on it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe end mounts are also stainless and TIG welded. They are curved, so they match the shape of the bar itself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eEngineering Meets Art\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe whole bar is curved and slims in 2 directions. It gets thinner in the center from both a front and a top view. The result is a lightweight hollow bar that gently curves over the engine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eJapanese Bridge Inspiration\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt takes inspiration from bridges over ponds often seen at Japanese Buddhist temples. These bridges are usually made of heavy stone. In order to support all that weight, the bridges are curved and thinned in the center to lighten it. Additionally, the subtle curve gives the bridge an appearance of being delicate and lightweight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a delicate looking design and the curves add to that beauty. This is a nice contrast to the physical design which is very rigid.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eProven Durability\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe've had a mild steel version of this on our personal Z for almost 2 years now.
