OEM 3SGE Beams Header Flange

Laser cut from 3/8" stainless steel plate and CAD-designed for a perfect fit. Built to make a custom downpipe from the OEM 3SGE Beams header to the OEM catalytic converter on an AE86 — engineered specifically to clear the AE86 steering shaft.

The Problem We Solved

The Beams header aims directly at the AE86 steering shaft. We solved this by routing a bend directly off the header flange, while also accounting for proximity to the power steering lines, framerail, and steering boot — all while keeping the assembly easy to install and remove.

Design & Fabrication

• CAD-designed and laser cut for precise fitment
• Cut from 3/8" stainless steel plate — no warping under heat cycling
• Includes both the Beams header flange and the AE86 exhaust flange for a complete downpipe build
• Compatible with merge collectors and retaining springs for added flex during heat cycling
• OEM-level fitment achieved after multiple CAD iterations

These flanges are the foundation of our in-house 3SGE AE86 Beams swap exhaust build — proven in real-world fabrication and tested for clearance, fitment, and durability.
