S30Z / Skyline ESCORT Nismo 6-Speed Transmission — Japan Import (NOS)

This is a NOS (New Old Stock) Nismo 6-speed transmission sourced directly from Japan — purchased personally from the legendary racing team ESCORT. This isn’t a conversion kit or an adapter plate hack. ESCORT did the full R&D to make this transmission bolt directly into your S30Z or Hakosuka (C10 Skyline) with zero chassis modification required.

The engineering behind this conversion is serious work. ESCORT sand-cast a custom bellhousing, then precision-machined both the Nismo and cast housings to a pressed fit. After TIG welding them together, the bellhousing was shot-peened before final reassembly — a process that improves fatigue strength and surface integrity. The result is a 6-speed transmission that bolts cleanly to your L-Series engine.

Additional machining operations were completed on the case and shifter housing to ensure the shifter position works with the factory S30 or Hakosuka trans tunnel. No tunnel modification required. The kit is complete with a billet aluminum crossmember — this is a true bolt-in affair.
