Toyota Corolla TE27 Mitsuba Fuel Pump Bracket

This is the fuel pump bracket we CAD designed for a 1973 Corolla SR-5speed "Mango".

In order to get the TE27 up and running again, a Mitsuba fuel pump to power the dual Solex 44s was installed. Unfortunately, there are no OEM provisions for an electric fuel pump. We refuse to drill holes in Kyushas, especially original paint time capsules like this, The solution, a CAD designed, stainless steel, laser cut bracket was born.

The OEM mounting holes for the gas tank are used, There are bosses we tig welded to the base plate to give us some extra threads. These were tapped to make assembly very easy to bolt on. This is the OEM+ design that we strive for.
